2006	Simon-Meyer, LLC Atlanta, GA Senior Field Consultant Mr. Voelkel is responsible for performing inspections on both commercial and A&D projects utilizing his extensive experience project management and architecture. Kirk’s work experience and training in the fields of Architecture and Construction have given him an understanding of both the conceptual and the tangible.
2002-2006	H. J. Russell and Company Atlanta, GA Georgia Project Manager Duties included managing the day to day duties and responsibilities for the company and the subcontractors, preparing and drafting financial reporting, drafting owner payment applications, reviewing and approving subcontractor billing and actively engaging the Architect and Consulting Engineers in coordination issues.
2000-2001	Juneau Construction Company Atlanta, GA Sr. Project Engineer Duties included running the day to day business on a construction site, negotiating and preparing subcontract agreements, preparing and submitting owner payment applications and change orders and reviewing and approving subcontractor payment applications.
1997-2000	PFVS Architects Atlanta, Georgia Project Manager/Job Captain Duties included production of design development drawings, contract documents both in a single position and as team leader, coordination with contractors and consulting engineers in a leading role and construction administration for various hospitality renovation projects.
